A purchased a 2004 Honda Civic Hybrid from this dealership. My girlfriend (the buyer) and I personally spoke with their "Certified Technician" who assured us that everything was in working condition. The CARFAX of this vehicle was provided and while it was looked over he stated that the battery had just been replaced. Three (3) days later the check engine light came on. The car was taken to Maita Honda and found to need the Hybrid battery replaced. A quote of $1,500 was given for the part and additional $1,500 for the labor cost. Due to the the nature of the repair, it was explained that it is necessary to to remove the entire rear portion of the vehicle just to access this battery. The battery cells are no longer functioning correct, therefore, the entire reason that this hybrid was purchased is useless due to the battery not working properly. This was brought to the attention of the man who sold us this car, Daniel Yukhimets, and his offer to correct the situation was "there's not much I can help you with except offering you a 6 month warranty or give you my profit from this car, which is only $350. If you want to report me to the BBB and you think thats fair, well I can't stop you. I'll deal with the BBB". When I suggested that I sell the car back for the exact amount of purchase and part ways (not even charging the diagnostic that his "Certified Tech" stated was done or the gas spent traveling back and forth in an attempt to correct this) the response was that if I paid $500 and and additional 15% to restock this vehicle, then he would take this car back. Buyer beware. Business will never be conducted with this vulture again and he is currently being reported to the Bureau of Automotive Repair and to the Better Business Bureau.
