The Poseidon Restaurant

I would have given a 4 star. Staff was pleasant. Atmosphere was beautiful. But we sat in the bar area for happy hour specials on appetizers and drinks and got full price. We had a large group and didn't catch it until later that night. We paid with a company credit card and called to get some sort of apology and refund but we were told we would have to call at a later date and time to speak to someone who can help. It's been more than a week and still no refund. Really disappointed with the outcome. We thought this was going to be a regular place to entertain out of town business guests. Not going to until this is taken care of.

This is second time in less than 3 months I have been to the Poseidon Restaurant. Once, again the service was poor. We waited for at least 10 minutes before someone came to offer us any kind of service. This last time was my birthday. I did not want to make a scene because my dear friend wanted to treat me for my birthday. However, I did let manager know he did a poor job of assisting his servers when they became extremely busy. I observed him being more concerned with certain patrons. My friend is African American. I felt slighted! Is this what my friend has felt for years? .... it is wrong!! The manager did offer to take care of the bill but my friend had already paid the bill. And, I did not want to embarrass her. I cannot remember my server's name but she was fabulous!!! My point is please respect all of your patrons regardless of what race they are. And, by the way I am a Native American!
