Totally extra & pretentious place. We’re visiting LA from London and wanted to check out this bar. We drove down there with our friends but we were refused entry because one of us was wearing shorts, moccasins and a shirt. The problem was the shorts.
I wouldn’t recommend this bar for one main reason, I personally refuse to acknowledge face control. Especially from a poorly maintained 1990’s building with the main entrance next to a dodgy garage door. I do understand regulations but for someone who values appearance I would expect that they look after their own property before they proceed with the application of old fashioned and cheap regulations regarding third parties.
