My name is Nancy Mitchell. These folks cost me approximately $12,000 when I sold my condo in Santa Paula. I ordered a termite INSPECTION. I did NOT give them permission to go into the INACESSIBLE AREAS...which they did. They tore off siding and made a mess. When I questioned the OWNER he said they HAD to rip off the siding to see what was underneath! They were NOT hired to rip off anything...the city came by and saw the siding ripped off, then they decided the condo needed new cantilevered beams in the upper story because there was a tiny balcony that they said "might fall off."
The elder Sloan retired and left the business to his son...The son obviously was in the wrong, but would not admit it...I will bad mouth Sloan every change I get. In order to go into INACESSIBLE areas during an
INSPECTION, they cannot do this without written consent. I asked for ONLY an inspection. They had no right to tear off siding.
