I took my truck in to have the AC assessed because it wasnt working. Everyone was very polite, and told me everything that was wrong with it..well their version. When I walked in this shop I must of looked like an easy target being a woman because these men tried to take me for a ride. They told me I pretty much needed all new AC parts..compressor, drier, hoses.. everything...one being that it was still all original equipment.. two because none of its working.. three that there is multiple leaks in the system. Okay then tell me WHY when I got in my truck to leave your store my AC was blowing cool? On a 106 degree day.. it was blowing COOL from the little bit of r134 and dye you put in i AND when I opened my hood to see if the compressor was turning..and it was..obviously with the AC blowing cool.. I noticed the green dye you guys use to find leaks that put INTO the system...well...I dunno but maybe this is the dumb fat woman over thinking that obviously has NO mechanical knowledge... WHY DID IT LOOK LIKE SOMEONE POURED DYE ON TO CERTAIN AREAS TO MAKE IT LOOK LIKE IT WAS LEAKING??!?!?! Well.. I decided to test my theory so I washed off the engine, bought a can of r134 with UV dye and added it. Well, several days later it is running nice and COOLLLD and no leaks seen.. and yes I used a UV light. I maybe a woman that has weight issues, but I am NOT STUPID. What happened to people with integrity?! Honor?!
