The Shade Store

The products are great, the customer service is nonexistent! I called the SF store on Monday and left a voicemail (no one answers the phone) stating that I needed someone to come to my home to repair one of the shades I had purchased. I stressed that it was a very large window and it was a privacy issue and requested a call back as soon as possible. Well, it's Wednesday and no return call. I finally called their New York office and when confronted with another impossible wait chose the option for new orders and no surprise, someone answered. She was very receptive and offered to send me the needed parts (2 more days!) and would have a repair person contact me to schedule an appointment for repair. We'll see how long this takes but a full week will have gone by before I was able to get a repair man to my home! Unacceptable, to be sure. Too bad, because they have a great product.
