Cruise America

I rented a C19 from Cruise America for a week and travelled around California and a bit of Nevada. The machine had 70K miles on it and a few areas were showing their age. Everything worked as expected and the unit was comfortable and functional. It was the perfect size for one person or a couple travelling. The built in shower was very handy in places like Yosemite where they are hard to get to. The people were friendly although a little officious. They were extremely busy with RV going in and out constantly. They were easy to deal with and the hire was value for money. Make sure you shop around as there are 3rd party booking services which get you the same machine with better inclusions for less than the default from CA. I took both kitchen and personal kits as it was cheaper than outfitting things myself. Knowing where I was going I brought two wool blankets from home. The C19 is easy enough to drive not much bigger than a full size car. I would rent from them again. I prepaid for propane and did the last dump myself.
