We had a very bad experience at this hotel. We rented a room for around $100 per night and booked for 2 nights. We arrived within 2 hours. There was a loud party going on in the parking lot. One end of the building was closed due to construction. We went aound and found the building a mess. There was loud fighting as we walked down the hall to our room.
When we got to our room, we were almost knocked down by a very strong pet odor. We could not stay there due to this strong smell. We called the office and explained that this room was not acceptable. They said they would only move us to another room if we paid an additional $60 per night. We were not willing to pay extra because the room and the hotel overall was in such poor condition. We could have rented at a much nicer place for this amount. It was dirty, worn out and stinky! We returned our key immediately and asked for the manager. She charged us the full $238 even though we told them immediately that we were unable to stay there. The manager refused to give us the owner's name or contact info. We felt that we were totally taken advantage of and deceived. We went to another hotel for a similar price and it was clean and smelled good and was in great condition. We may have wasted $238, but hopefully this will help others who are considering staying there from making the same mistake. It is really frustrating that a business can treat their customers like this and have no remorse.
