A couple months back, I purchased the $39.99 Pro Access membership. This month, I received an email "Just for Pros" indicating I would a $15 account credit (450 points as they call it) on my next purchase of $75 or more. Although there were two employees on hand, and one of them even called the franchisee to find out how to honor the coupon, I was unable to receive the benefit of the coupon. Both employees lamented about how frequently they are unable to honor coupons brought in by customers, or run into problems honoring them.
I ended up receiving no discount on the purchase today, not a single "bonus point" credited to my account (other than the amount I would have normally received for the purchase), and only received a handwritten note at the top of my receipt that I would get $10 off my next purchase at that location. Not only that, but I was forced to stand in the store for a significant amount of time while the employee fumbled with the computer system, and repeatedly asked me to look at my email app on my phone so he could verify that the promo I was trying to redeem was indeed legitimate.
Just looked on Amazon and realized I could have saved about $10 by purchasing the same products I just bought from the store, online in the first place.
Here's my assessment: they were more expensive than online, a big investment of time (just to pay more), and were unwilling to honor their own promotions. I would avoid this retailer.
