Gail Bisho is truly a professional piano teacher. The first time we met, Mrs. Bisho took the time to show me her studio, spoke with my sons and evaluated them. My boys could play the piano reasonably well through pure memorization, but they were very weak on musical theory. That all changed as piano theory is a big part of Mrs. Bisho’s program. They can now sight read new pieces according to their level on their own.
It is now several years later and I am still very happy with my choice. The foundation instilled by Mrs. Bisho has paid off greatly. She uses a gentle approach to target weaknesses and all my children love her point based incentive program. Each child is different in how they learn and Mrs. Bisho tailors each lesson according to their needs. She is part of the Music Teachers Association of California; I have several children who have participated in their Certificate of Merit program and been invited to the convention that follows afterwards.
In the end, you really get what you pay for and my children look forward to each lesson with Mrs. Bisho.
