Worst experience with a Yoga instructor. I paid her $510 up front before11 sessions which she insisted I needed before group yoga. I have had yoga classes in the past.
I only had 3 of the 11 sessions before she threw a tantrum & refused to give me the other 8 that I had paid for. The reason: I told her I wanted her to teach me yoga poses & to stay with me during the session in place of running to her room, her office & her living room. It was distracting & I was not been taught anything! I was scammed royally. This woman has her clients give a donation in a basket & doesn't count these payments as income so she does not have to pay taxes like the rest of us. How she manages to do this is by charging fees & scamming unsuspecting individuals in advance on their credit cards, I do not know.
This will end up in small claims if she can time time from her skate boarding to address this issue. So much for trusting her with advanced payments. She turned hostile & threw a tantrum which is very surprising for a yoga teacher. Do not trust this woman with advanced payments.
