I was wrongly dumped from Dr. Kourdoni's care -after being his patient for 4+ years; right after new, severe medical conditions were diagnosed, when I had Rx's I had been taking, and which I needed to continue taking and which it was contraindicated to have stopped suddenly- with NO WARNING and no valid reason. All of my repeated(21 different letters, emails, different times of corresponding) attempts to talk to Dr. Kourdoni have been completely ignored and disregarded; just as my health care needs have been. To add insult to injury, I am being prevented from seeing ANY other Sutter doctor by the administration of Sutter North; which anyone who lives in Yuba City knows, means I have no other viable option for quality medical care, seeing as how there is essentially, a monopoly of these services by Sutter North. What is particularly distressing is the fact that I was told I was discharged from his practice -dumped- by his staff, when I called for an appointment and Rx refill, WITH GLEE. It was very clear that his "Care Team" member took great delight in telling me I "wouldn't be getting anymore pills" from my doctor. But when I wanted to know the reason, now that they couldn't tell me. Considering the fact that I had directly said to them that they were incompetent and unprofessional on more than one occasion -that would be the office staff, not my doctor- I really should not have been surprised.
So unless you want to just have your health care needs abandoned, to then be completely ignored, disregarded, and disrespected when you try to even just TALK to your own doctor to find out why, do NOT choose this doctor for your care. His office staff could -and very possibly would- be dangerous for your health.
