I was represented by the Wallin & Klarich law office, and I am more than satisfied with the services they provided. When my case began, I was detained for nearly two months and facing a charge that carried a minimum of ten years with a maximum of life in prison. I faced this charge for a year, throughout which the details of the case came out to all parties involved. It was clear to all that my situation was very rare, but it by no means constituted the actions I had performed. After the year, my charge was greatly lessened due to the efforts made by the WK law office. Eventually a plea agreement was made, and I was now facing a charge with a maximum of ten years; however, Mr. David R. Cohn was able to get both the AUSA and PTS on board with allowing my two months to be a sufficient amount of time served, as well as my other restrictions being minimal. On the day of sentencing, I was sentenced to time served with a three year supervised released period. I’m so fortunate that my original ten-to-life charge ended up resulting in just a supervision period. I believe this was achieved by the contact Mr. David R. Cohn made with the AUSA, and the efforts he put forth regarding my case. I’m very pleased with the outcome. If I had chosen another law office, for all I know I’d either still be wrapped up in my legal issue or even in prison right now. Instead, I’m able to finish my schooling degree and go back to the life I had before this legal matter.
