Sears Appliance Repair

The repair person himself was fine. My issue is with the Sears overall process. When I first called for service, I was told I had to do a hard reset (I had already reset the refrigerator the day before) and wait 24 hours to see if it reset. It didn't. I then called back and was told it would be another week and a half before a service rep could be at my house. I was able to go on-line and get a quicker appointment (even though I was told if something sooner became available they would call me and they didn't ). It was still a week out for the repair call. After a week most all food in my refrigerator was lost. The service rep didn't have the part needed (they never seem to carry basic parts) so, parts were ordered and the return appointment was almost another 2 weeks out. Why should it take almost a month for a repair. What family can go that long without a major appliance. And, how can you not lose a lot of valuable food? The food loss coverage does not cover condements, dressings, etc. That is the majority of items that were lost (I would think that is what resides in most people's refrigerators). I find the time frame ridiculous!
