We picked up a large something in our tire which left us with a flat 350 miles from home in the middle of a heavily traveled tourist area.
Low and behold, around the corner, a Valero station. We limp in on the donut to ask directions to a tire shop.
"Oh we can plug that!"
Bang! Ten minutes, tire plugged, mounted, all tire pressures checked, a tiny fee, and an "enjoy the rest of your travels,sir!"
