Due to delinquency on the part of this dealership, I received countless calls from BMW/MINI requesting a $1200 check to cover the costs of the final few months of my previous lease which this dealership offered to cover if I leased a new mini through them. Several months after receiving countless calls and threats to take me to collections, the check was finally submitted and the calls stopped.
This should have been a warning sign. 3 years later and now I am stuck with $650 service bill because the sales rep and finance manager neglected to inform me that the 41 month/45,000 mile lease they sold me would not include maintenance and service past 36 months/36,000 miles. If an option to purchase an extended maintenance plan was available and extended to me, this is certainly something I would have chosen to do. It was never mentioned and there is no record in my lease papers showing that I turned this option down.
After speaking with the Mo Ali, I was hopeful that he would do the right thing and refund me the $650 for my recent service but unfortunately he did not. Instead of helping a loyal customer, Mo tried to swindle me into leasing another Mini through his dealership by offering the same promotions that are available to any current Mini Lease Owners. He then offered to extend me additional credit of $1000 (so only $350 after taking into consideration the $650 that I've already paid out of pocket for a service bill for a Mini, I will only have for 2 more months). Apparently this was his attempt to make it seem like he was helping me out but in the end it was just another way to get me stuck in a Mini from his dealership that would surely result in further dissatisfaction as a result of poor treatment of loyal Mini customers.
It is unfortunate that this experience with this dealership has led me to reevaluate my opinion towards Mini and will eventually result in Mini losing a customer.
There are plenty other car dealerships out there, my recommendation would be to stay away from this one.
