Sonoma Coast State Park

A well taken care of beach. Easy access in parts, others you have to "hike" down to the ocean. I currently live in Colorado and visit my partner out in Sonoma County. Every visit we make time to visit the ocean. The park is beautiful and super welcoming. Each time we go I fall in love with it a bit more!

I love love love traveling along this coast line. On a sunny day, it's easy to see for miles. Although there are usually many other visitors, it never feels crowded. The views are amazing and the sunsets are postcard perfect. The weather is typically warm and only requires a sweatshirt, if anything at all. The surrounding town of Bodega is very quite with great dinning and most places offer outdoor seating, which is fantastic on warm days. I highly recommend making it a priority stop if you're visiting wine country..
