Smoguys Star Certified Station

MODIFIED CAR OWNERS BEWARE. The shop employee asked if i had all original parts. I told him that the mufflers are changed. He proceeded with the ~20 min test and visual inspection. Upon completing the testing, he then goes under my car and said 'oh, your exhaust is modified, sorry can't help you.' I showed him the CARB E.O. numbers for my replacement catalytic converters and the CVC stating the legality of modified exhausts, and told him I have passed smog with the same exact configuration for 10 years. He told me to go wherever I did before (which I couldn't, as I've moved across state). Waste of my time for the testing and driving out there, plus cost of gas. I understand the right to refuse service, but do it at the beginning instead of wasting all our time. I went to the Smoguys off of Winfield and had no problem at all.
