Would never choose them again if I had a choice of rental places to live in the bay.
Tried to increase our rent mid-contract (illegal).
Closed the parking lot area for 2 months for a “shed” that...ended up being a new apartment.
Tried to charge a $25 move-out fee that wasn’t in contract.
Shoddy workmanship on the renovated apartment i was in. Had a 1/2” gap between windows they had to repair. Vents were banged shut to half the house in the ceiling. Cable was disconnected in the walls so had to get a repairman to make a new connection. Didn’t bother to dust the tops of cabinets after construction, etc.
Total lack of detail. New property manager was compassionate though - appreciated her for that. But the company at-large is one I’d rather never have to deal with again.
