Sears Auto Center

The Sears car service staff were great!! My car dealership after regular maintenance told me I needed (1) a new battery and (2) new brake pads. The whole thing would be over $400.00! I then went to Sears car service center in Antioch for a second opinion. Spoke with two staff people there (believe the tall fellow was named Bob). I told them what my dealership told me. They told me most likely I did not need either service. They checked my battery and brakes. I was told the battery was tested and was fine. Just a little acid deposit at the connectors. That was eight months ago and I have never had any problems with my battery! Sears was totally right!!! Also, I was told my brake pads were fine and did not need to be changed at that time. I could come back later. They quoted me a price about $70 less than the dealership for the brake pads and future service!! I now totally trust the service staff at Sears! They could have made some money from me, but told me I needed no service at that time. I was shocked by the honesty of the Sears auto center staff!! I felt they were working not to rip off the customer but to provide an honest evaluation with the customer's best interest in mind. Totally surprised and satisfied customer impressed by the honesty and integrity of these Sears auto service professionals. I now always go to Sears for my car's maintenance and service. True story. :-)
