My daughter is in her second year at Little Blossom. We love the place. The teaching staff and the children represent a truly diverse group. There are three classes--toddler, pre-school, and pre-K--and each is headed by a fully-trained Montessori teacher helped by a handful of teachers (this software wont allow apostrophes!) aides. Everyone is dedicated to the children and shares a committment to a loving, caring community.
Those couple of reviewers who had trouble finding out about curriculum probably spoke to a teachers aide (maybe someone in charge of food!) rather than one of the teachers, for each class has a regular schedule and a set curriculum. They even have Spanish classes twice a week!
A monthly newsletter informs parents of goings-on at the school and the teachers hold two formal conferences with parents each year to discuss their childrens progress. A small number of dedicated parents are also involved in organizing field trips and other special events.
When my daughter first started, she was just over 2 years old. She used to cry every day when I dropped her off. Now she wakes up early in the morning begging us to take her to school. She loves all the teachers and many of the children. It will be a sad day when she graduates from Little Blossom and has to leave such dedicated and loving teachers behind.
