Let me start by saying I have used roto rooter in the past and have not been impressed, but they were reliable. This time I made an appointment on roto rooter's so called online appointment making system and waited the day I made an appointment. They never showed so I called and asked when they were coming and got that they never received the appointment from corporate and that I should call them from now on and how corporate always has this problem. They then offered at that point to send someone out to take a look at the problem for $125. They did say that this would be "just to take a look". I have never been charged for someone to give an estimate for repair so I said no. I contacted corporate to let them know of their issue and they said that they were sorry and would have the local office contact me with a compromise since they said I should never be charged, yet no one has ever contacted. They were rude for some unknown reason when they didn't need to be and wanted to charge an exorbitant amount for just a estimate. I will never use their service again.
