Romano's Macaroni Grill

My favorite, favorite restaurant!!!! The complimentary Rosemary bread is amazing, I eat way too much every time! I think the only thing I've ever gotten that was disappointing was when I created my own pasta... I leave my selections up the the experts now. My favorite is the chicken under a brick, it's delicious and not heavy if you aren't in the mood for pasta. The pizza is really good and all the pastas are exceptional

First impressions was not so good. We were not greeted properly as we walked in. Got salads, but did not get utensils, had to get up and get some from 2 tables away. Ordered soup.it was good, but cold. Also ordered pizza and I specified what I wanted in it, but they completely failed to make it per request. We had 2 waitress and both failed to check on us and make sure If we needed anything or if food was good.

The food is fantastic. We have always had good service. Today must have been an off day. Our server needs to be trained a little more. She took a long time before even taking our order. Once we finally got our food she never came back. I had to get some one else to box my food. She only came back to drop off the bill and even that was wrong. She took it back and fixed it.I felt bad for her because my husband is a big tipper. He didn't want to to go back .l told him to give it another try because this is the only time we have ever had a problem. I really enjoyed and love the Macaroni Grill on Laguna boulevard and Elk Grove.We will be back. The food is fantastic just can't find better any where
