Rodeway Inn near Venice Beach

Not bad for the location and price. We've stayed here before, but had a better room. We're usually running around LA during our visits or I'm here for CEs, so a fancy room is not a priority. This time our room is missing a slat in the blinds, there's no screen in the bathroom window, and the bathroom door catches on the floor. It has the damp mustiness characteristic of the area (we used to live nearby) while that's not a big deal, it does feel grimy. I'm a frankly grossed out and will spring for better accommodation next visit.
