Quality Inn Downey

We originally wanted to stay 4 nights and after arriving to California from Idaho at 8am and after driving 12 hrs. I called hotel and was told I could not check in until 3 pm. Upon check in we were charged 100 deposit when we paid with a CC. Hotel is clean, staff is friendly as well. The room upon entering was very muggy and had a strong smell of mold or mildew.. we turned AC on and left. Returning later in the evening it seemed better but being someone with asthma and allergies I was up by 3am blowing my nose and struggling to breathe which is why we only stayed 1 night. The parking lot was packed when we returned and could hear lots of noise. Pool is definitely not a pool it's very small should be a Jacuzzi or hot tub instead. Breakfast was hot. Upon check out we were charged for a safe that was not even used and they credited the whole amount charged back to our acct. Then pulled out the room charge days later.
