My husband surprised me for my birthday and took me to the Power's Mansion Inn. It's a quaint Victorian house that is full of history. It is unique to bed and breakfasts since each bedroom has it's own bathroom. The house decor boast the era in which it was built and is very comfortable and clean. Alfred (the owner) is an amazing Man with quite a history of his own. He's a great cook and conversationalist and a very gracious host. He knows the history of the house and loves to transfer that knowledge to his guests. My husband and I were going to Auburn to visit family and this was a spur of the moment decision. Alfred was very accommodating and help my husband pick the perfect room. I'm looking forward to staying there again in the near future.
