5 stars to my nail tech Paula, 4 stars to the business.
I am an ongoing customer at Perfect Nails. I like the environment and the fact that there are TVs there to entertain me while I get my services done. Kim and David have owned the store for quite some time and they have always been nice every time I've gone there. The staff does make the effort to remember your preferences if you become a returning customer.
I advise making an appointment because they do get quite busy at times, which is the reason I'm offering 4 stars versus 5. When they are very busy and you're a drop-in customer, I feel they could do a better job at trying to accommodate the guests who have to wait or come back. When I make an appointment, most of the time they are able to take me right at my appointment time. Sometimes they are still finishing up with someone else and I have to wait. But usually it's not too long.
My nail tech Paula has really gotten to know my preferences, which I really appreciate. She offers me extra services from time to time, but neither she or anyone else at the shop has ever been pushy about it. I started off with gel nails and I continue to get gel fills. The quality is always great, they are always shiny and they almost never lift. Paula is great at noticing when one is starting to lift and she handles it before it becomes annoying or problematic for me.
