This self-service 24 hour gas stations is one of my favorite places to eat in San Francisco. The corn dogs, potato wedges, jalapeno poppers, burritos and battered chicken parts are all deep fried and served hot. Unless the pumps are busy the wait is less than one minute. All you order off of the deep fried menu ( including hot dog ) is ready to eat as is behind the glass. For the hot dog you may want to add a traditional topping or two if they are in season. This is the place to go in San Francisco for deep fried chicken 24 hours a day, every day. Curb side seating is near by, or you can stand away from the gas pumps and eat right from the bag. The outdoor quick-dining area is well lit and active day or night. The staff is quite friendly and helpful at all hours. An ice cold domestic and foreign beer selection is offered during the morning, daytime, evening, and night time hours. Single cans or bottles, 6-Pack, 12-Pack or special discounted quantity selections to choose from that pair well with the deep fried menu selections. The dessert items range from cake donuts, to deep fried churros. Select drip brewed coffee and specialty hot drink machine items are always waiting. For large fried menu orders it's a good Idea to call in advance to check on the availability of your choices. It's also a good idea not to wait around the location too long after you have dined or at any other time.
