Messick Ace Hardware

This is one of the best hardware stores I have been to. Owing to being in farm country and also being the only game in town, their selection is well above average. I'm often surprised when I need something that I can't imagine any brick-n-mortar store carrying, and find they have exactly what I'm looking for. Add this to a friendly, close-knit staff that seems knowledgeable about everything in the store, and you have a top-notch hardware store.
