Mel & Fayes Diner

The place seems like an institution- when you’re in Jackson, it’s apparently the place to be (at least that’s what all the memorabilia tells you on the walls). Food was pretty good - standard fare. The service though deserves at 10! Our two servers (one had to take a break) really loved being there and were excited to share their knowledge of the menu and the restaurant’s history. They also personally make the shakes and sundaes for dessert - oh man, that alone is worth a return trip!
