Maxwell's House of Books

Supporting local business is a huge thing for me, and sometimes it delivers amazing rewards. Maxwell's is awesome. Huge selection of literature, modern and otherwise. I went there for some King and even though they didn't have a separate section for horror (Most places don't) they STILL had a great collection. On top of that I found The Elements of Style and a plethora of awesome kids books as well as my two hardcover King 1st editions. All in all a place is only as good as it's staff/owners, Maxwell's shines there as well. Very helpful, VERY considerate (I have loud, energetic twin girls), and great prices.

I loved this bookstore! For one, it's in a great place (The Village is beautiful and the people are friendly), and it had a great selection of books sorted by genre. The owner was genuinely personable, and the books there were in good condition for being used. I picked up some classics as well as books that were new to me, and the prices were decent.
