Lightning Van Lines

Lightning Van Lines did a wonderful job packing us up. They took great care of all the furniture, wrapping and labeling the items. Their team that came out were efficient, respectful and quick. I was very impressed with the wrapping. Some items fell out of the truck on delivery but because they were so well wrapped, the items were not damaged. The delivery was slower as there were only 2 workers. They were both very professional and courteous. It would have been better to have more workers as some items did fall off of the truck when they were unloading. Because the packers packed so well, we had minimal damage (I think a small mirror broke - from a box, and an office chair leg). Two items were missing and unfortunately they could not be found in their warehouse. We have moved many times with the military, this was our first civilian move. We were hesitant about using any moving company across state lines (California to Colorado) and researched many companies. We got 3 estimates (2 who came out to our house - Lightning Van Lines was one of these). They were not the least expensive but they were on time, looked at all the items, followed through in a timely manner with their estimate and were able to move us quicker than we expected. This was early July, during the summer moving season! We got our goods within a week after packing us up, as well. I would definitely recommend Lightning Van Lines. I would highly recommend having them pack (we had looked into us packing but didn't want to deal with all the stress) and paying for extra insurance. It gave us peace of mind and while we had very minimal damage and missing items, it was worth it. We moved a 3 bedroom home and were moved into our new home in record time.
