L.A. Care Health Plan

#Re-write...Unbelievable! No secret our Health Care System is very "broken". L.A. Care is a large part of the problem! I got a call this morning for a "survey" of my Daughter's health needs..."So a Case Worker could be assigned to guide her through the system." Sounds great! Unless you have been through this "game" before. We have! So many times I'm not going to play...know the old saying? If you continue doing the same thing...and expect a different result...it's insane! I don't expect a different result after 10 years. A call...we answer the Survey...no Case Manager is assigned...nothing on our end ever happens. (I think they take these surveys for their own marketing purposes...not to help us.) For as many years I have filled out their form to be able to manage her health care. I have submitted a "dozen" which never get recorded. "We have no record on file for you...I'll send you another form." DON'T BOTHER! ...is my response now! Your company can't seem to complete a solid transaction as simple as this. It gets worse trying to get approvals...Neurologist or Orthopaedic Surgeon (they don't have one in their system Why???) Hospitals...Doctors Offices dread dealing with Pro-Med...Pomona Health Care or any of L.A. Care's multiple "split-offs." They're "fragmented"...left hand doesn't know what the right one is doing. Ask a question? They don't know if it's not in their skript... They don't answer promptly...or at all. Don't complete task in a timely manner...if at all. Run us to unqualified Doctor's that get paid to "stay in their system"...but can't help us. Burn up time starting over with "approvals"... medical conditions get worse...not better. (Went a year with a painful broken bone in my hand...WOULDN'T approve a Doctor out of their system.) Ran me to Doctor's that said, "Why are you here? I don't do that." That's Cruel! My daughter's sight was lost to a seizure...this is a significant case. Brain surgury... It's painful! L.A. CARE REALLY DOESN'T CARE. You hurt us more than you help us... On my top 10 Worst American Company List! P.S. The representative who called me didn't like what I had to say (I'm not rude...just truthful) SHE HUNG UP ON ME! Please...don't send me one of your lame...we are sorry "FORM APPOLOGIES!" in response to this review. Look at all your reviews. READ THEM! Think how many thousands you are harming who haven't voiced their stories. Seriously you need to do something to fix your mess fast! You have let it go too long...putting lives in Danger! Causing unnecessary pain and anguish. P.S.S. Read the (owner) Answer... Offering to report to YOU what YOUR problems are has been a royal waste. YOU DON'T LISTEN! (Really read the reviews...if you care) Complaining to yourself doesn't get you very far...now does it? I am urged to go through three (3) step hoops to what...get resolve on life damaging issues...it's an insult! Refer me to a Web-site? Really that's the best you got? At the end of your process I ended up with a "form letter." The "big pay off"...a "Sr. Advisor" who really doesn't want to hear your problems and can't seem to solve them either! Nothing ever gets resolved. So...I am going through a complaint process available to us (The State of California Insurance Commissioner...local L. A. Office) that will listen. Just for the Record: Why are you "thanking me for reaching out to you?" I want to make it clear...GOOGLE keeps it pure. I DON'T get paid! NO compensation for my HONEST opinion/experience. (5 million people views because I tell the truth) In no way can it be construed I reached out to you. I am so far past that. I have no belief (as I clearly stated) you intend to change anything. You make money! Profits! That's your bottom line while mine is to fix the broken health care system (that's you) and help heal Americans. I am not to be "placated." We are miles apart. You offer no viable solution! No.1 on my Worst Company List...with a big SHAME ON YOU!!!
