The Hollywood Roosevelt

Amazing hotel in a bad location. It’s a beautiful building, and although it’s known for its night and party scene, it’s very kid friendly. We originally booked a Superior room, and upon arrival, they gave us a great deal and upgraded us to a big & beautiful suite. It was amazing to stay in that room, we really enjoyed it. They also have a heated pool, which is beautiful and the kids really enjoyed it. The only downside of the hotel itself is the 25 degrees restaurant in the lobby was gross and the service was bad. They even messed up grilled cheese and that’s hard to do. The people and service in the rest of the hotel was great. The location is truly the worst. It’s essentially the Times Square of LA, but it’s even worse. This didn’t really impact our stay, except for there are no good restaurants nearby (walking distance of) the hotel on account of its location. Staying here will mean you will probably have to drive a lot, so for that reason you may want to stay in another location. However, this is a beautiful, great hotel for not too expensive, so we liked it a lot.
