I decided to give this place a three for two reasons, one good and the other not so good.
First reason: The location. The fact that it's on the lake and has a nice view really helps this place. Try sitting outside so you can have view of the lake.
Second reason: Overpriced. The cost per plate is not justified by taste but rather by the location. I don't ever agree with this, I think anytime you price your food on the market high end it should be delicious and gourmet regardless of the place or setting. Javier's does a great job at this because they are consistent and they provided a great overall experience.
I would recommend this place for a margarita and chips and salsa by the lake, but not my first option for dining.
