Gryphon Stringed Instruments

If you’re in the Bay Area and you’re buying a stringed instrument, you owe it to yourself to spend some time at Gryphon before you lay your money on the counter. But be advised that you won’t find budget instruments here. That being so, they have a good selection of mid- (and higher-) -priced instruments. And the best stringed instrument workshop in (maybe) the country. Thanks to Frank Ford, a legend in that community. I have bought several instruments there. I may buy more ... but I don’t need any right now. Like, if you’re in Michigan, go to Lansing and visit Elderly. And if you’re in the Bay Area, go spend some time at Gryphon. Play some instruments. Look at the books. Buy some strings and a pick. Don’t play Stairway to Heaven.
