Wow! It used to be called "The Canyon Wall" back in the 60's and 70's. We hiked there all the time and climbed the rock wall as kids. For a period of time in the 70's it had the name 'Dead Horse Canyon" as unfortunately a horse somehow fell over the waterfall's edge and sadly was left there at the bottom of the canyon. It's very odd for me to see houses there nowadays! We used to ride our dirt bikes from the trail head near the Canyon Wall up to the 'Tin Mine Road' as it was called back then, and then we could ride all the way to Lake Mathews and beyond.
