After having coffee at Blue Bottle strolling back to car, I happen to see sidewalk A-frame stating gallery with pointed arrow. Walked in and was immediately greeted by Viviana. E14 Gallery is more than a gallery, its meaning is "What is Oakland"? And the art express what Oakland is today and beyond. There's a retail gift shop in front and gallery in back. Local artist from all walk of life comes here to express themselves. It's Africa American, Asian, Brazil, Latino etc. Some pieces are even put together on site to showcase. They've monthly events and hold get-together partys.
