I tried making up to my best friend.. I was physically unable to purchase a Christmas gift. I decided it be ok, calling telaflora &paying with my ny&co credit card because I'm broke.. telaflora took order, sent email w details & they messed it up, so I called 45mins AFTER Placing the order, had a different person RE-DO the order, I told them, I ordered a "Gourmet basket" but my email you sent says, "Poinsettia basket"? WHAT IS that..? Told it's a holiday basket w fruit..and a Poinsettia! But I ORDERED a basket w Crackers, NUTS, SUMMER SAUSAGE, BEEF STICKS, SUGAR COOKIES, GRAPES AND MAYBE A COUPLE BANANAS.. why would you guys put Poinsettia basket..? I SPECIFICALLY said, NO FLOWERS! They apologized and ASSURED me they'd correct it immediately! Day of delivery.. she got huge POINSETTIA basket w fruit, had to have basket taken back, HOW can SINGLE girl eat ENTIRE fruit basket?! This is why I changed it in First place!! I called telaflora AGAIN, THEY BLAMED THEIR mistake on Flower shop- And told me they YELLED at florist about poor quality of fruity Poinsettia basket, &said since THEY ruined my friends day, THEY would have to PAY out of THEIR pocket, WE at telaflora do NOT put up with THIS, how about WE cut the price, from 49$ to 20$ ..we'll have them pick it up and Replace it with what it Should HAVE been! I was DISGUSTED with them for trying to bully this flower shop around for THEIR mistake so I just cancelled the order with telaflora and decided to give this guy chance- I called and apologized to local florist about telafloras BAD business dealings he vented his anger about THEM ALWAYS making mistakes and outrageous expectations, I agreed, he claimed to ALWAYS end up on bad end of deal.. I told him, Forget Them, I want to do business with YOU, I then told him, I want a New basket, sent to my friend, THIS one needs: Crackers, nuts either Seasonal or like Salted peanuts, pistachios, a summer sausage and beef sticks, milk chocolate covered almonds and peanuts.. pretzels salted and dipped in chocolate some grapes maybe a COUPLE bananas. .is this possible? He agreed it was.. but it was gonna cost, 49$ + 10$ for delivery I agreed, rather pay him using My debit card especially after having the embarrassment of asking my friend to give basket back since it wasn't right one- I hoped to surprise her THIS time and specifically told him, she is picky, NOTHING with SPICES no FLAVORS like Garlic or tomato Basil on summer sausage, just plain BEEF..Everything needed to be simple! HE assured me THIS was going to be a basket I was GUARANTEED to be proud of, I placed THIS order w a professional.. I even told him NOT to worry about having it ready next day relax..I told him have it sent by MONDAY:) Basket arrives.... SO upset. No salted peanuts, just bag of BEER NUTS No pretzels salted or chocolate dipped, just a bag of TRAIL MIX No crackers OR sugar cookies at all... No pistachios, just a scoop of seasonal mixed nuts, No milk chocolate covered almonds or peanuts, instead two small stovers DARK chocolate assortment boxes Instead of a Summer sausage, there was a RAW smoked sausage that looked GROSS and like it was picked out of the baloney section of grocery store, and a beef log flavored HOT WASABI some grapes and two bunches of bananas. I don't know what's worse accepting telafloras mistakes or the fact I tried being Nice, apologized and paid FULL price for being embarrassed Twice! Very long story short: Don't embarrass yourself.. I'm having this flower shop pick up this basket a 3rd time- not to be replaced or to demand money back- but to DISPOSE it! I'm going to MAKE her a gift, all this bulls@#t left me broke!! (I tried erasing the ONE star rating but It wouldn't let me:(
