Stay away, price gouging, no licensing, then when theres an issue tells you to take it up with the handy man or "contractors" (I use the word, contractors, very loosely).
The property manager, Joe Wong, is the wrong guy to
do business with. I had to deal with this twerp for a fence issue. He started by telling me he uses this unlicensed guy to do all kinds of work. One property line of fence was nearly at $2K according to him. When I told him that was too much, he brought the price down a couple hundred. I obtained a quote from a reputable fence replacement contractor and Joe Wong said he can have the work matched at that price and insisted his guy do the work. Within a couple hours he came down nearly 40% of his initial cost just to match my licensed contractor. Something seems fishy already.
I had to ask several times for a written quote and it looked like it was the first time this guy ever had to provide one, very unprofessional. On top of that Joe Wong wanted me to pay this guy $400.00 up front and he was going to do the same for a total of $800.00 before the guy begins the job. Really?! Im going to pay your unlicensed handyman who "has experience working on fences" over 50% of the job cost before he even starts the job?! Then your goingbto tell me to take up any issues with the handy man. Arent you the property manager?!
Don't take my advice and you too can experience this headache first hand. Trust me, theres a million property management companies out there, use whomever you want, just dont use ELITE REALTY SERVICES.
