Door King

To me ... The King is dead. The King (Jake) sent spear carrier "Raymond" to replace a broken spring (PLUS new bearings, as per "Raymond's" advice, PLUS adjustment to side rail). OK. $300. Next day, I see door is closing off center, outside the weather stripping on one side. Called The King (Jake). He sent "Raymond" back, and he made some adjustment. Looks OK. Next day, I see door has shifted back again. "Raymond" returns for Plan C. He installs a "fix" that was MY idea, and as he packs to leave, cautions me not to check it with consecutive tries because it could "burn out the motor" -- Translation: "Let me get out of here before you start testing." Next day, door shifts back again. Called The King (Jake). He says (reluctantly) that he'll have to come out out and see for himself ... tomorrow ... about 4pm. Next day, 4pm, no King ... no phone call. Waited almost 1 hour. No King, no phone call. Later saw he call my landline around 5pm (I was out), did not leave a message. Did not call my mobile. A week+ passes, no word from The King (Jake) -- but my check is cashed. The King is dead. Cost me another $50 to get it fixed properly by QUALIFIED person.
