Don Perico Mexican Restaurant

Sub par as far a “authentic” Mexican food goes. Not sure anyone there has any idea what real Mexican food goes. The “new” menu was a total wreck. I was told the fish tacos were the waitresses favorite from the menu. So that’s what I ordered and I can tell you they were made backwards. Meat on top and veggies in the taco. When you bite into them ALL the meat falls off and your stuck with a lettuce taco. The fish was flavorless as well as the rice and beans. If your visiting town just keep driving past this place

Tired travelers, almost closing...didn’t turn us away, so welcoming, extremely good food, huge portions, wonderful friendly servers. Personal attention from the owner. Moderate prices. Best bet in Tehatchepi!
