Just an overall outstanding experience in learning a new skill and talent with Deanna. She is super talented, and has a world class eye. Her understanding of Millinery and the way she shares with you the information is very warm and wonderful. She is a terrific teacher, talent, craft person and all around artist. My friend and I just took Deanna's Straw Hat Draping workshop. It was amazing! Deanna is so knowledgeable and patient! Not only does she walk you through each step, from design to completion, but also explains a bit of history and reasons for the techniques! Deanna is very warm and encouraging. Her studio is a wonderful, inspiring place to create! At the end of this two day workshop we felt very accomplished and had beautiful, unique hats.
