I would never leave a bad review for a business, I've never wanted to say something negative about a place, but I've never ever in my entire life, have I felt so harassed and attacked inside a bike shop. I had been in contact with the manager Robert at this location, about getting a job there, they had a couple posts up on Craigslist about hiring so I thought I'd apply being I'm knowledgeable in treks bikes. I got an interview and was told a couple things that gave me hope on the job, was told what days I'd be given. So I was stoked, thought things were going good. So a couple days pass by and I never hear from him again, I thought hey I'll send a follow up email maybe he can update me on the situation. More days pass by after the email and I still never hear from him. So I lost hope and thought yeah they probly don't want to hire me, maybe they found someone better. But when I get a chance I'll pass by and and say hey and pick up a water bottle for my trek. I pass by today, walk in, there's nobody in the store. I assume they're out back or something, I wait 5 mins still no one there. Finally Robert comes in and greets me with an unfriendly attitude. I wait another 10 mins before I ask if he had a min to speak to me. After waiting for a while he finally gives me his attention and asks what's up? I say you know just wanted to follow up don't know if you got my email. States he never got an email, then tells me they weren't going to hire anybody, in fact that they weren't going to hire anybody until the next year. So I'm very confused on why that wasn't said at the first conversation, i was ready to leave at that moment but thought I'd just say what my expectations where. Told him it would have been nice to have been updated instead of just have me waiting for 2 weeks for literally nothing and that I felt he could have been more friendly overall. He then just tells me to get the fudge out of the store...at this point I'm just feeling harassed of my time...I proceed to leave the store. I look back to see bobby just smiling, I could not control my emotions and turned away and told bobby the f word and left. Never have felt so mistreated and discriminated with literally no justification. He thinks he can treat people however he wants. Well i thought id just share my experience. Will never step foot in this shop again.
