We tried this place twice and unfortunately will no longer give the "local guy" business. Gruff or grouchy service, lack of correct tools, sketchy cleaning methods. Service: once while we were waiting up front the elderly fellow who runs the place hung up a phonecall to a customer in the back and muttered "you b**ch" into the dead moutpiece, then came out to my wife and asked, "what can I do for you, sweetheart?" As for tools, he hammered out pressed jewelry fittings that really require a correct screw-type removal tool (we cringed at the sound of it). He dropped a delicate piece of our jewelry onto the floor in front of us, too. NOT RECOMMENDED.
