Campana Music

For several years, I had an amicable relationship with the deceased owner, Joe. Ben, who was store manager until his recent retirement was a joy to work with and he recently retired from his duties with the store. Unfortunately, “Bob”, who had recently assumed ordering responsibilities, had not produced books for two weeks, and was vague about when I could expect these books to arrive. Ben and Joe were very prompt with my many book orders I asked “Bob” yesterday (1-8-18) about theses erstwhile books. His response was to accuse me of stealing candy and coffee in a room that I had rented to teach piano for three years. He finally apologized after which he explained that the store policy for renting studios had changed and that I could no longer rent this room. His tone and demeanor were derisive and mocking, even at one point threatening to call authorities. Campana has among the higtest retail prices for music books in the Bay Area. Due to this unfortunate encounter with an unhinged Compania employee, I cannot continue teaching or buying this music store’s merchandise.
