My son and I have lived here for a year and have just renewed our lease. During the Summer there are some people working on their cars in the complex playing loud music, but nothing that you wouldn't find at a lot of other locations. Kids can be loud, and unsupervised in the warmer months. I have witnessed sever times kids kicking soccer balls off of people cars and misusing some property, but what are you going to do? (Parents, please be mindful of how your children are treating the hard earned property of others). I have never come across any roaches or bed bugs. Maybe the occasional lady bug or tree beetle that snuck it's way inside, as it is a heavily wooded complex. Very spacious for the area, and I do like the layout. Rent does go up quite a bit each year, but you will find that that is very common in nearly every area lately.
The bathtubs are huge and I've never had better water pressure. Utilities are separate, and you may end up walking very far to get to the dumpsters, like me. The gates are set up as one way only. And entrance gate, and an exit gate. However, it's become dangerous since many people ignore the signs. On many occasions I've nearly been hit head on by a vehicle trying to blow past me as I'm coming in the entrance and same as I'm leaving for work very early. I do wish they had some cameras out there that could keep track of those individuals that make it so dangerous getting in and out of here.
Not many things to complain about. Grounds seem well kempt. The louder residents seem to be at the back of the complex and it seems a bit more quiet in the front. During the summer, the pools are crowded with unsupervised kids and pre-teens all day and many older gentlemen who seem to be just "hanging out". I wish they would monitor more often to make the pool a more family friendly place to go.
There are quite a few lights out around the complex giving it an unsafe ambiance to walk around at night. Don't even think about using the laundry rooms. YUCK! I'm not sure if anyone has been in there lately, but dang.
I really do enjoy my unit itself though. For the area, yes, it is expensive being in this area, but it's very spacious. As long as you do your laundry elsewhere, keep an eye on the kids messing with your car, and never intend on using the pool, it's all good!
Not a bad place to live!
