Buddy's Bites and Brews

This place has gone down hill. I first came here a year ago. Was introduced to Ballast Point Koelsh, which has been one of my favorites ever since. Food was good. Service too. Went back a few times following, but hadn’t been there in awhile. This week my bf and I decided to go back. Man was it a bad experience. First off, the service was terrible. It wasn’t even busy but our waitress was chatting with the bartender the entire time. All we wanted was a refill....we even placed our cup in an obvious location. Then when she came back finally, we had to remind her what our drink was...cmon, there were like two people in the restaurant. Then came the food. We got the Cobb (bacon wasn’t included? How unusual in a Cobb...) and fish & chips. We picked these because the menu was so small.....nothing sounded good. Well, the fish and chips could not be described in any other way than slimy. They were so greasy and just plain gross. The chicken in the Cobb smelled bad. My Shirley temple had a rotten maraschino cherry. All around nasty...my stomach hurt the entire rest of the night. $39 wasted if you ask me. I was really hungry that day too....still salty about it :(
