I've stayed in many NFS campgrounds including Lower Lee Vining a few miles downstream from Big Bend. This campground, Big Bend, October 7th and 8th 2017 was very nice. Very clean well-maintained restrooms. tent pads at sites were large and level. The only gripe I have is the speed of traffic on the access road. It's posted 15mph but most drivers were doing 30+ creating a lot of dust. The camp host was polite and friendly. His firewood was seasoned well and burned nicely without any sap popping. The campground is non-reservable. First-come, first-served only. It's a 500 mile drive for me, but I will try to stay here again if possible.
