Best Western Plus Desert Poppy Inn

I've always liked Best Western hotels because they usually have great amenities but are within my budget. I was not disappointed by this new hotel in Lancaster, CA. I found it clean, cozy, and packed with amenities. I loved the in-room mini-fridge and microwave. The decor was cute, with painting and photos of poppy fields decorating the walls. Even the carpet and room decor kept the poppy theme going. There's a pool and hot tub, which I didn't use, a fitness room, which I did. The complimentary breakfast was a nice basic setup, with a choice of coffee, tea, juice, and milk, yogurt, pastries, bagels, waffles, and sausage and scrambled eggs. I didn't notice any vegan or gf offerings, per se. It's close to the freeway, gas stations, Jet Hawks Stadium (The Hangar), and the California Poppy Reserve. Overall, I recommend this Best Western and would stay there again.
